Arrival

We have arrived! We are beginning to settle into our orientation accommodation in Dar Es Salaam, and generally just being back in Africa! It's very sticky here, even sitting in the shade we are sweating. quite a change after grey Britain! There are 22 people on our orientation course, which lasts for 3 weeks. We have lots of new faces and names to get to know! We are really looking forward to getting stuck into Tanzanian life and culture. It's amazing to look out of the window and see huge palm leaves and hear so many different sounds. It is very green here in comparison to the other parts we have visited previously, so it makes an interesting change. We will write more as we experience more of this amazing country.
