So one of the many interesting aspects of life working here is that we don't 'earn' any money! We are faithfully supported by many individuals and churches, given the money needed to live and work out here.
When we joined Wycliffe, and moved out to our place of work, we were set an amount of money to 'raise' each month to cover our expenses. If we are not able to raise this amount over a series of months we will be asked to return to the UK until we do.
Unfortunately, now is one of those times when we find ourselves under our target amount. We feel it is important that you know this, and why! It is for a number of reasons...
-the strength of the pound against the Tanzanian shilling has dropped significantly in the last 2 months;
-a number of our financial supporters have had to stop giving;
-the cost of living in Tanzania (food and travel costs in particular) have increased.
We are currently £200 under our monthly target amount and so therefore need to raise this extra money. If you think you are able to help, and would like to, please do contact us. Until this time we have had all our needs met and we believe that we will have them met again. Please also join us in praying for this need. Thank you.
