Looking back on my 20s...
A decade ago I started going out with a handsome, extroverted young man. He was my 20th birthday present and turned out to be my best friend despite our many differences. Since then I have got engaged, got married, enjoyed pregnancy (well, some of it!), achieved birth and now have a gorgeous one year-old son. I have also graduated with a degree, completed a discipleship course at church, worked in a call centre, as an admin assistant, teaching assistant, literacy specialist and proofreader. I have moved house 11 times (soon to be 12). I have been baptised and learnt to speak Swahili. I have holidayed in Barcelona, Rome, northern Ireland and Tuscany. I have lived in Sheffield, Buckinghamshire (twice!), Tanzania, Devon and Oxfordshire (twice!). I have had iritis three times and am learning to manage Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I hope the next 10 years will be just as exciting but slightly more settled! ...
